  • Drink plenty of water the day prior to and the day of the 5k

Safety First

The safety of our girls and all participants at the Girls on the Run 5k always is our first priority. We have a thorough safety plan in place for the event. An Event Guide will be given to all participants before the 5K. Further, a map will be posted closer to the event, which will provide a good snapshot of where our designated safety marshals, first aid volunteers and water/aid stations will be positioned along the 3.1 miles. Girls on the Run volunteers will line the course and our volunteer coaches are all First Aid and CPR certified and will participate in the run/walk alongside the girls.
